Earl and Charles McCarter, the heart and soul of our family-owned and operated campground, portray that warm Southern atmosphere that just feels like home. These two share a lifelong bond, having both grown up in Wears Valley. Together, they’ve developed a deep-rooted partnership as uncle and nephew, spending countless days hunting and fishing in beautiful Wears Valley, Tennessee.

When they stumbled upon the chance to own this campground, Earl and Charles didn’t just see a business opportunity – they saw a golden chance to create something that would capture the heart of Southern hospitality and charm. A place where the days are slow and the smiles come easy.
