About this campground

Hunters come to Bonny Lake for deer (draw permit only), turkey (draw permit only), waterfowl, dove, pheasant, quail, rabbit and squirrel. Hunting and fishing licenses, as well as off-highway vehicle, boat and snowmobile registrations are available at the park. Located in the South Republican River valley with thousands of trees, Bonny Lake State Park offers a shady retreat from the grasslands of the high plains. Camping is available year-round and Bonny is the perfect destination for that first and last trip of the year. The park also has excellent wildlife and bird watching.Bonny Lake has four campgrounds: East Beach, Foster Grove, North Cove, and Wagon Wheel. There are 190 campsites for your enjoyment. Sites within each campground can accommodate tents, motor homes, pick-up campers or trailers. Campers are limited to one camping unit and one tent or two tents with a maximum of six people per campsite.
