Bonanza CCC Group Campground is located nine miles up beautiful, historic Yankee Fork, approximately 23 miles from Stanley, Idaho, at an elevation of 6,500 feet. Lodgepole pines provide partial shade and summer wildflowers are abundant. Yankee Fork stream provides good fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and whitefish. Hiking is popular in the area; West Yankee Fork-Crimson Lake Trail and Lightning Creek Trail both begin nearby. Horses are allowed on these trails.ite is available for reservation from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and is for group camping only. Individual campsite reservations are not available. One group site is available and can accommodate up to 70 people. Vault toilets, potable water, and garbage service are provided, but there is no electricity or hookups of any kind. Group picnic tables, a gray water sink, grills, and fire rings are provided. Roads and parking spurs are gravel.
