Whitetail Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3,000 feet. This campground is located approximately 7 miles from the small northwest community of Yaak. Found amid tall timber and lush green forest, this site is also adjacent to the beautiful Yaak River. It is in a remote area of the State, heavily timbered, with numerous wildlife species. Fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, and picnicking are among the activities to be enjoyed at Whitetail Campground.
