West Madison Campground

6000-foot elevation. 7 tent campsites near the Madison River. Excellent fishing for trout in the river. Trailhead near the campground heads up to Gold Butte, from which you can see the river valley. You can continue up into the Gravelly Range from here or from the forest road. Scenic driving, scenic views, hiking, and fishing.
