The Velva park board oversees the public swimming pool, local park and adjacent campground. The elected board members are JP Lohnes-president, Mike Heisler, Julie Anderson, Deanna Frantsen, and Rick Erickson. Claudie Selzler is treasurer. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm at Velva City Hall. Any changes to meeting dates or location will be posted on the City Hall door.
