Vaughan Lake Campground

This is a small, scenic campground, which is a favorite among hunters and families alike. It offers vault toilet facilities with fire grates and picnic tables in its 6 campsites. The campground will be open approximately Memorial Day to September 30th, dependent on weather and use. The overnight camping fee is $10.00 per site. Sites are available on a 1st come, 1st served basis. This campround is along Forest Highway 16, a portion of the Flat Tops Trail Scenic and Historic Byway. It is fairly open with Aspen trees and an excellent view of Vaughn Lake. Take a scenic drive on the Flat Tops Trail Scenic Byway, access area trailheads or enjoy on-site lake fishing (no boat ramp).
