Welcome to The Enchanted Forest, a spellbinding destination in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, owned and operated by Magical Mountain Resorts. Nestled 10 miles outside Hayesville, our 11-acre campground backs into the Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest. Covering many of the mountains and valleys of southwestern North Carolina, the Nantahala National Forest is the largest in the state, encompassing 531,148 acres with elevations ranging from 5,800 feet at Lone Bald in Jackson County to 1,200 feet in Cherokee County along the Hiwassee River. In addition to stunning views and hiking opportunities, the forest also boasts access to three beautifully pristine lakes, two major rivers, and three large reservoirs.
