Swinging Bridge Campground

Concessionaires manage the campground. The concessionaire visits weekly from mid-may to Labor Day weekend. This area is accessible for a season that varies usually between April 20 and October 20 due to snow levels. Swinging Bridge Campground was named for the small suspension bridge (removed in 1991) that was used for access to the railroad tracks across the river. Swinging Bridge Campground is one of 4 campgrounds that lie along State Highway 55, next to the North Fork of the Payette River. This campground has 11 units. All units have tables, grills and fire pits. Vacationers traveling through Idaho use this campground heavily.
