Steer Creek campground offers a nice place to kick back and enjoy nature among a beautiful ponderosa forest. The first-come, first-served campground has 23 campsites and is located in the southeast corner of the Samuel R. McKelvie National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There’s also a nice corral with 8 stalls available if you want to bring your horse along for the campout
