The Sportsman Lodge, Cabins and RV Park is in the quiet town of Melrose, Montana (population 90 people), where you’ll fine a nice restaurant, fly shop, fishing guide services, shuttles, and a gas pump, but no grocery store or ATM. We don’t have a mall, Jacuzzis or traffic jams either but we do have clean rooms, friendly service and a heapin’ helping of Montana. We’re five minutes away from hiking, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing opportunities in the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest. The Big Hole River is within walking distance and mountain lakes and beaver ponds each offer their own fishing experiences. Enjoy cycling, hiking or four-wheeling to explore our mining and homesteading history. Like photography? Choose from ranch scenes, wildlife and wildflowers, or historical sites.
