Smith Falls State Park

Nebraska’s newest state park includes a trail to the state’s tallest waterfall, Smith Falls, via historic bridge across the Niobrara River. The Jim MacAllister Nature Trail alerts hikers to the convergence of diverse ecological systems. Trails open daily, from dawn to dusk. Park vehicle entry permit required
