Palmetto Shores RV Resort

Explore Tours

Summerton’s history began in 1830 or so when plantation owners moved a little distance away from the Santee River to escape summer’s humidity. Hence the name ‘Summer-town.’ Summerton and Palmetto Shores RV Resort are still a summer vacation retreat with golf, swimming, hiking, fishing, and camping…but now you can enjoy all of those things year round. Just off of I-95 (exit 102) and only one exit away from Santee, we are one of America’s favorite golfing destinations. Shout out to Snowbirds…our mild weather makes Palmetto Shores the ideal place to hang your hat for a few days or the whole season.
