CAMPGROUND LIST

Olive Ridge Campground

Explore Tours

There are 56 sites that will accommodate tents, campers, trailers, and RVs. Contrary to information on other websites, plenty of shade is present in this wooded area (see photo). Tents must be confined to the provided tent pads (14′ X 16′). Picnic tables, fire grates, water, vault toilets, and trash services are provided. The campground also has a playground suitable for small children. There are no electrical hook-ups, dump stations, or showers. A maximum of eight people are allowed per site except for two oversized sites, units 26 and 40, which allow a maximum of 12 people. Olive Ridge is near the southeastern corner of Rocky Mountain National Park, so offers nearby access to hiking trails in the Wild Basin area of the National Park. Olive Ridge is normally full for the weekend by Friday morning so plan to arrive early or consider making a reservation.
