Little West Fork Campground

Little West Fork Campground is on the West Fork of Morgan Creek. We found it on the map and thought we would find a nice campground. Don’t be fooled. After a slow rough drive up W. Fork Road on a very narrow road, you find one unmarked site. It is surrounded by a pole fence and was occupied seemingly permanently. There is a picnic table and fire ring with an attached grill. The western slopes are open and dry while everything else is forested and brushy. It looks like great hunting country. Don’t take me wrong, I bet a few people in this country have great memories of camping here. However, I wouldn’t want to drive in here only to find the one site taken.

Recreation: I think the primary recreation here is hunting. However, one could certainly enjoy riding their ATVs, bikes, or horses on the mountain trails around here.
Restroom: A very old outhouse, don't look down.
Swimming: No, but there is a creek to cool off in.
Water: No potable water.
Wildlife: Deer, elk, bear and many other species of wildlife live in these mountains.
