Little Susitna River Campground

The Little Susitna Campground is open each year from Mid May through Labor Day Weekend.  The campground has a day use area, pavilion (available for rent), play grounds, defined camp spots with a fire pit and trash can, rest rooms and RV pump station.  It also contains many trails leading campers and day-users to prime fishing hot spots.  Campsite fees apply. Across the Parks Hwy is a Public Use Facility maintained by the City of Houston. This day use only site offers another place to access the Little Susitna River. Several area lakes including Prator Lake, Loon Lake, and Bear Paw Lake are stocked with rainbow trout and other fish.
