Lake Lowndes State Park provides a complete recreational facility for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy the park. Lake Lowndes is located on a beautiful 150-acre lake. The park offers unlimited opportunities for fishing and camping, softball, tennis, football, and other organized sports. Mississippi University for Women (The “W”) and Mississippi State University (MSU) are just a short drive to the west, making Lake Lowndes State Park the perfect place to stay during a football weekend at MSU or while visiting either campus.
