J C Cooper Campground

Kerr Lake SRA (J.C. Cooper) Campground has 98 campsites (61 with 30-amp electric hookups) and is located in the Satterwhite Point area next to Kerr Lake. Sites with hookups include 23, 25, 27-65 and 80-103. Several campsites are water front and most are quite large (parking area ranging from 25 to 108 feet). Accessible and group campsites are also available. Campground amenities include drinking water (spigots), flush toilets, showers and a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The park also has an amphitheater, boat ramp, playground, marina/store, picnic area / shelter and visitor center.
