This semi-modern campground, located on the northern shore of Houghton Lake, offers excellent fishing opportunities. Houghton Lake is Michigan's largest inland lake (20,044 acres). The campground has 50 sites for tent or small trailer use, some of which may accommodate a 40-ft vehicle/trailer.
 
 Amenities include a modern restroom building (no showers) and potable water from hand-pump and flowing wells. The campground is open from late April to mid-September. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
