“Haystack Reservoir is located 8 miles south of Madras Oregon just 2 miles off HWY 97. The campground sits adjacent to the Crooked River National Grasslands and the reservoir is known for boating and fishing. The West Shore has 16 regular tent / small RV sites, a boat ramp with boarding floats, boat trailer parking and day-use area. The South Shore is home to three large group sites that can accommodate up to 50 people with 25 RV’s / tents. The North Shore day-use area has a wonderful fishing pier that sits out over the reservoir and offers beautiful views. Firewood and Ice are sold by the camp hosts on site.
