Golden Lake Campground, located 15 miles northwest of Iron River, Mi., on the Iron River Ranger District, provides an opportunity for a northwoods experience, complete with fishing, viewing wildlife such as bald eagles, white-tailed deer, and numerous birds and small mammals. Golden Lake Campground features a single loop with 22 campsites that are spaced with natural vegetation for screening.
