Goat Island RV Park & Camp
Explore Tours
The Goat Island Campground and RV park is a former TVA campground. It has been reorganized in the last two years due to the passing of the former owner. Much work has been done to clean up the camping sites and the ongoing plans include additional campsites and RV parking. The campground has a limited number of full hookups for RVs, including a Dump Station. Electrical Service has been upgraded in the last year. There are 86 camping pads for tent camping or campers. A concrete block restroom facility is conveniently located near the water for campers and boaters. A boat-launch ramp with plenty of parking adjoins the camping area. Situated on the banks of Pickwick Lake, the natural attraction for this campground is the fishing opportunity, both from the bank and from personal boats. The water in the vicinity of the campground is renowned for crappie fishing, and like most of Pickwick Lake, the catfish do bite good as well.
