General Burnside State Park is a peaceful retreat for campers, boaters, fishermen alike.
Cool lake breezes and beautiful views make camping at General Burnside a great getaway. The campground features 94 sites with utility hookups, two central service buildings with showers and rest rooms, and a dump station. The campground is open April 1 – October 31.
Lake Cumberland provides some of the best fishing in the United States. Fish for crappie (10-inch size limit), largemouth and smallmouth bass (15-inch size limit) and striped bass (24-inch size limit and two fish daily limit). A marina next to the park has everything you need for a great day on the lake: rental slips, rental fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, and houseboats are offered. General Burnside extends you an invitation to enjoy great facilities for your next picnic outing.
