If you visit this area make sure to take the short hike to Fresno Dome which provides wonderful views of the San Joaquin Valley and surrounding mountains. Travel 2.6 miles from the campground to the Trailhead. Turn right on 6S10c 1/10 of mile to start of trailhead. Look for bulletin board on left side at road. 30 minutes, one way to top of trail. Easy/Moderate trail to base of Fresno Dome. Steep; Rocky trail to top of Dome. Fresno Dome Trailhead: Travel 2.6 miles, and turn right on 6S10C, and go 0.1 mile to start of trailhead. Look for bulletin board on left side at road.
