Fairview Recreation Area

Located along the beautiful Arkansas State Scenic Highway 7 in the middle of the Ozark National Forest, this campground is also a popular camping and parking spot for hikers/backpackers along the Ozark Highlands Trail, which passes right next to the campground. This campground offers 10 primitive campsites. Five of those sites are on a first-come, first-served basis, with the other five being available by reservation only. Each site does offer a table and fire ring. While there are no hookups available, campers are welcome. A vault toilet is also available. Fairview campground is located along the Ozark Highlands Trail near mile marker 125.
