Emigrant Campground

Emigrant Group Campground is located above the shoreline of Stampede Reservoir within the Tahoe National Forest. It is about 30 minutes from Truckee, Calif. The campground offers four group sites. The larger group sites are Woodsman and Prospector. They each accommodate up to 50 people. The Rancher and Trapper sites accommodate up to 25 people. Each group site has a central cooking and picnic area equipped with a campfire circle, approximately six tables and four grills. Horseshoe pits are located at the Woodsman site.
