Coaldale Campground

Coaldale campground is located on the banks of Hayden Creek and is a quiet campground with only 10 campsites. Most of the campsites are walk-in sites with small parking areas. Water is available at Hayden Creek campground. The area is thick with gamble oak, juniper and cottonwood trees . Sites 1-5 are walk-in sites for tent camping. Fees are charged from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

This campground is located in “Bear Country” and campers should be mindful that any food, drink or edible items will attract bears. Campers must dispose of all trash at nearby Hayden Creek campground which is located 1 mile south of the campground. Coolers must be put away and locked in a hard-sided vehicle.
