The Chilhowee Group Camp sits near the top of Chilhowee Mountain, at an elevation of 2,000 feet. The campground is nestled in a forested area of hardwood and pine, just a short walk to McKamy Lake. The lake is popular with swimmers, boaters, and anglers. The recreation area also has 25 miles of trails for hikers and bikers, including a short 1.5-mile trail out to Benton Falls—a 65-feet tall waterfall.
