Camp Pedro

Camp Pedro Campground is in far northeastern South Carolina. The campground actually sits almost directly on the state border between North and South Carolina. The small town of Hamer, SC, is nearest to the campground. The nearest larger town is Dillon, SC, at about six miles to the south, while the nearest larger city is Florence, which is almost 40 miles to the south.Camp Pedro Campground is located at the South of the Border rest stop, just off of I-95, so finding it should be no trouble at all. This is a well-known tourist attraction, so you will actually see signs for it for many miles along I-95, coming from both directions. There are two gas stations and convenience stores found near this site, and both are open 24-hours a day.
