Bumblebee Campground, located at the confluence of Bumblebee Creek and the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, is 38 miles from Coeur d’Alene.Bumblebee Campground is comprised of 2 campground loops with 25 campsites including a host site. Campground roads are paved and campsite parking spurs are seal-coated gravel.
The north loop has 10 campsites including the host site. This site is a reservable group site through the National Recreation Reservation Service. It has a capacity of 100 people.The south loop has 17 campsites. Amenities include a potable water well with a hand pump and vault toilets in each loop. The eastern end of the south loop was damaged in a wind event in 2006. That portion of the campground will be reconstructed in either 2011 or 2012.The minimum operating season is Memorial Day through Labor Day.
