Blacktail Creek Campground

This is a small, open campground with 8 campsites. Facilities include drinking water and vault toilets, with fire grates and picnic tables in each campsite. This campground has been affected by the Mountain Pine Beetle, but many young trees remain. The campground typically opens for Memorial Day and closes around November 30th dependent on weather and use. The overnight camping fee is $10.00 per site. Sites are available on a 1st come, 1st served basis. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to get away from it all, this is the campground for you. It boasts a separate picnic area next to the road and reasonable driving distance to stream fishing, mountain biking and hiking.
