Apache Trout Campground is a newly constructed campground located at the Big Lake Recreation Area. This much anticipated Family Campground is conveniently located at an elevation of 9000 ft and is in close proximity to the heavily stocked Big Lake. Nearby is a well stocked general store with boat rentals. A fish cleaning station is also nearby. Flush toilets, shower buildings, full hook up sites, and two group sites are among the many amenities in this 124 site campground. Firewood is available for sale. Campground host is available on site. Popular activities include hiking, site seeing, and fishing in a prime trout lake
