About this campground

East Lake Resort is a spectacularly scenic vacation, geologic and archeological wonderland located in Central Oregon. Situated in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument Caldera at just under 6, 400 feet elevation, the lake is fed by snowmelt and underground springs. East Lake covers 1, 050 acres, is approximately a mile in diameter, has a maximum depth of 185 feet, and average depth of over 67 ft.In addition to being one of the best fisheries in Oregon, East Lake is easy to reach, for contact information, directions and a map of the area, please visit our contacts page. We are easy to find and the road is paved all the way to the resort. Pets are welcome.
