Oconee Point Campground is located on the northern end of Hartwell Lake and is close to Clemson, South Carolina. Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the largest and most visited public recreation lakes in the Southeast. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. The lake and surrounding land are popular for camping, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, picnicking and more.
