Camp Windy Campground

This trails connects from non-Wilderness areas to Wilderness and leads to Badger Lake. Signage is very limited. This trail starts at Forest Road 4860 (5,200’) and ends at its intersection with Gunsight Trail #685 (5,600’). This trail can also be accessed from Camp Windy Campground. From Forest Road 4860, the trail heads west into the Badger Creek Wilderness. The trail climbs gradually 0.8 mile to Bennett Pass Road (Forest Road 3550). Continue a further 0.2 mile to the end of the trail at Gunsight Trail #685.
