Earl Park, Indiana is located in Benton County on the far eastern edge of the historic Tall Grass Prairie. Fed by numerous small streams, the Earl Park area is home to many species of wildlife including whitetail deer, mink, beaver, badger, great blue heron, pheasant, quail, rabbit, coyote, fox, raccoon, opossum, and numerous birds of prey. Earl Park is located in Richland Township which is named for the rich black top soil. Near record crop yields are common in this area of Indiana.
