Thompson Flat Campground is a developed, fee picnic area and campground located near Lake Cleveland composed of 20 individual units and 2 group units. Fee envelopes and a collection box are provided near the campground entrance. This area is accessible for a season that varies usually between July and October. Group Site A can accommodate 6 vehicles and up to 35 visitors and Group Site B can accommodate up to 15 vehicles and 50 visitors. Reservations are necessary for both group sites. Sites are handicapped accessible. Campground amenities include toilets, tables and grills. The campground is well suited for tent and RV camping. A corral and day use area is located at nearby Twin Lakes. The campground is a pack in/pack out area. Visitors can enjoy side trips to Lake Cleveland and to Mount Harrison.
